Ok well the Goo Goo Dolls are more pop, and they are probally the only rock group she liked before. Green Day are pop-punk yet I know very preppy girls who like them. Same as Blink 182 they were good but they sold out. She only started to like them after the fact she became a 'punk'.Before she like the Dixie Chicks and other country artists. |

All of a sudden you see little teenage girls running around in ties, chucks and baggy pants calling themselves punk. Well you have Avril to blame for this, she couldn't be happy dressing like Michell Branch, she had to go further to deny the fact thats shes just like Britney. Buying everything from Hot Topic. Holding a guitar, and being seen on a skateboard. To give these mtv-influenced kids a fake image of punk. |
Does she really believe shes punk?
I don't know but I think her manager convinced her that shes doing every the "punk" way. She acts like an ass, insults all pop acts(even thought she is one)starts "tiny riots" listens to "punk", dresses "punk".
